EUDI Wallet
EUDI Wallet readiness in Poland
Poland is developing an EUDI client with interoperability testing and a pilot planned for December 2026. The initial EUDI app is a separate rollout, with later integration into mObywatel envisaged. mObywatel’s existing domestic release therefore does not establish that the new EUDI wallet is already available.
Technical material describes pilot protocols and onboarding, but a general external sandbox route is not identified. The UC122 draft specifies relying-party registration, checks and certificates; scheme roles and an initial security evaluation are also being prepared. These are planned arrangements rather than open production services or an assessment already under way. Independent private-wallet recognition remains unresolved in the available evidence.
