EUDI Wallet
EUDI Wallet readiness in Sweden
Sweden’s state wallet is in development under Digg, with published code and invitation-based testing using fictitious data. Broader functionality is expected in 2027, while the recorded certified-wallet milestone is in 2029. Sverige-id is the planned identity component used within the wallet, not a separate basis for calling the wallet released.
The proposed relying-party framework assigns a role to PTS, but the implementing duties are not yet enacted in the available evidence. Digg is participating in Nordic-Baltic certification-scheme development and welcomes private wallets subject to certification and national approval. The existing sandbox requires an invitation and registration; it does not establish open production onboarding.
